Meet
Miranda
To be honest with you, this hasn’t always been my life. The vibrant, healthy, and fulfilling life I live now—one filled with energy and balance—was once just a distant dream.
I’ve had an incredible journey—practicing Primary Health Care on a medical ship in Papua New Guinea, traveling as a Polynesian dancer to share the aloha spirit across Africa, Europe, and North America, and managing a bustling university coffee shop. This adventurous, fast-paced chapter of my life was vibrant, but behind the scenes, it often looked like this…
Rushing to get out the door, only to spend hours waiting around for events. Eating local meals during the day but ending most nights at McDonald’s with my team because “we deserved it.” Living out of a suitcase while navigating the toxic dynamics of a team that made every day emotionally exhausting. I constantly battled feelings of not being good enough, all while dealing with weight gain, relentless stress, lingering illnesses, and long periods of eating little to nothing.
By the end of this whirlwind, my health had hit rock bottom. I had gained 30 pounds in just two months and became consumed by crash dieting to lose the weight. In my desperate pursuit of a 24-inch waist—the “ideal” I thought I needed to be happy—I threw my hormones completely out of balance. My period disappeared, but even then, I couldn’t hear my body’s desperate cries for help.
I became obsessed with dieting, cutting out more and more carbs, pushing myself harder, and thinking that health was only about being thin.
Everything changed when my best friend stepped in. She introduced me to a completely different perspective on health, one that focused on nourishment, balance, and truly understanding the body’s needs. That was the turning point that led me to study at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where I became an Integrative Health Coach. I later specialized in Gut Health and Hormonal Health Coaching, diving deeper into the root causes of imbalance.
Through this journey, I didn’t just heal—I finally listened to my body. I learned how to feel its rhythms, honor its needs, and align with its natural cycles. I’ll never forget the first time I felt my body shift from the follicular to ovulation phase. That moment of connection was transformative.
It was in that moment I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping other women understand their bodies, reclaim their hormonal balance, and thrive—not just survive.
“So now how do I do this?”…
That’s What I’m Here To Do!
I’ve been working with pregnant mamas since I was just 10 years old. I started as a babysitter, helping out during weekly mama groups, and soaking up everything I could about pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Over time, I realized how much wisdom I had gathered—what worked, what didn’t, and how every pregnancy is so unique.
That passion only grew as I continued learning everything I could about pregnancy and birth. I even had the privilege of working alongside a midwife in Papua New Guinea, supporting mothers through one of the most beautiful and transformative times in their lives.
But here’s the thing: many women are told that all pregnancy symptoms are just “normal.” The aches, the fatigue, the mood swings—while common, they don’t have to define your pregnancy experience. That’s where I come in.
I’m here to step into that space for you, just like my best friend did for me. She saw me, believed in me, and helped me realize that my life—and my health—could be so much more. Was it challenging at times? Absolutely. But it was so worth it in the end.
